Meta announces that their annual Connect event will be October 11th. Meta has been doing these Connect events, yearly, for almost a decade now. It’s a chance to see what the company has been developing throughout the past year. Last years event, Mark Zuckerberg announced the renaming of the company and teased their new Cambria headset, which is rumored to be released next month.

At the event, I’m hoping to hear about new content for Meta’s social VR platforms, Meta’s partnership with Qualcomm, and an official release date for the Cambria. They usually take this opportunity to show off some of their hardware in development. Meta has been acquiring a lot of hardware, so it’ll be interesting to learn what they are developing.
